Dan Lakatos is a ski/hospitality professional and photographer with decades of ski & outdoor industry experience. Originally from Detroit, Michigan - Dan was heavily influenced by the adrenaline and personal expression of 80’s and 90’s action sports culture through BMX racing, freestyle skiing, and skateboarding.

As a lifelong skier, mountain biker, hiker, fly fisherman, and hockey player Dan is passionate about capturing the enthralling energy of sports & the outdoors to tell stories through his authentic imagery. He believes we are all heroes of our own story and that photography and art provide a reflective celebration of the human journey.

Dan lives in Bozeman, Montana where he’s been an active community member for 30 years.
